I have been reefing for about six months but every picture I’ve tried to take looks awful. Is it possible to take decent pics using an iPhone or one of the iPhone Pros? Are there any apps that help filter out the blue? Here’s my best attempts using iPhone 16.

Polyplab just released v3 of their Coral Lens kit. That looks like the best lens kit on the market right now. Amazon also sells the Orphek coral lens clip which works. You can take a look at My Tank Thread for iPhone photos using the Orphek lens kit.

Snapseed app is free if you want to try something before buying a filter.
Reef Dork has a YouTube video with suggested settings you can find to just try out.

Clip-on yellow or orange filter (as already suggested) is easiest -- kit like suggested above is a good start.
*I use the orange filter but I'm colorblind

What I do is just put my phone up to the orange tinted sunglasses some lfs give out/sell and it makes the pictures look really nice, but sometimes the blue lighting goes through that

I can help! The image below was taken on an iPhone 15. All you need is an orange lens kit ( I personally use the Orphek one). Adjust the lighting of your tank to be more white than blue, and you can get good photos on your phone. Also using some post-processing like Lightroom, Luminar, or the default photo app can help your photos stand out more
