Not really a build but a rebuild.
New lights everything else old. Except the life. It’s not that blue in person not sure how to fix phone photo. The first photo is old light after I put new water in the tank after 12 years water had evaporated by 50%.

I keep trying to get photos but none of them have colors/light anything near to what I see. My fish have good color and starting to get a little pop on corals. It doesn't help that the walls are deep blue on either side of it. I forced flash on but that just made the rocks white. Videos are a little better but I can't figure out how to post those.

Get these Orphek lens filters for your phone. They will remove the blue and make your coral and fish colors pop.

1st mistake! I put the pump on a wifi power switch so that I could easily turn off and forgot the switch had a timer. So from midnight until I checked it 7;45 am sump pump was off. Uggh.

Smatfarm G6140 watt is 8" off water. Set at 2 hours of sunrise 6 hours of day light 2 hours of sunset and 2 hours of moonlight. Right now it's running at about 45% power on most channels except red and green. Still tweaking a smidge on coloration. 225-250 Par 8" below water. Most rock surface is 8-12" below water.

Clowns are eating and looking good, corals appear good! Had a couple starfish hitchhikers show up.

Found 3 of these hitch hikers today.

Raised light another inch any higher and will have to raise wall mount. and lowered intensity to 35.40,40,40,38,8,8. Zoas and others around the 100 to 120 par. Green toadstool getting around 150-170 par. Starting to notice more algae on rocks and a little on glass. Thus far I e been able to count 8 out of 10 astrea. Paly seems to have one more polyp at 9.

I need to get a filter so I can see how what’s in the store will look in my tank. His lights show things with yellow and reds. Then everything ends up looking orangey brown at home. And I ended up with a Duncan against my better judgment but I just could not resist. Also he threw in a Kenya ittty bitty tree for free and against my better judgement I took that to.

Pulled rock out to small to see when it retracted into its hole so I tried to super glue it in the hole hopefully that works. Seems we use to blast them with Kalkwasser

Algae production down corals all look happy maybe stretching a bit pointed towards light now at 25 w, 45,45,45,8,8

Trying a diy algae scrubber 1st edition remove most bioballls except 2 layers to dampen water falling sound. Makeshift grow light and vinyl craft mesh under the falling water at an angle from corner to corner. Ultimate goal section off 1/4 for mesh with plastic grate and 3/4 for bio balls.
