I got some hateful alert that I had been banned from this website because I hadn't posted anything. :(It turned out to be a joke. So my setup up is:
RSM-250 (the older one not the reefer).

A fancy-smancy Life Reef sump & refugium for which I don't like the skimmer. There is a Current -USA led fixture for the refugium.

Removed the stock hood and replaced with two ecotech 15WG3 on a rail system and a custom built black acrylic piece that covers the unsightly filters that show when you remove the stock hood

JBJ Chiller -- I don't need a heater as I live in Oklahoma and I keep my thermostat between 74° and 76°F year round. I should sell the cobalt heater and American Marine temperature controller as they don't get used.

Various salinity/saltwater digital monitors. I need to sale my Milwaukee Instrument seawater digital refractometer.

Bio pellets reactor.

Ecotech Vortex 40W ES for the display tank

Ecotech Vortex 10W QD for the refugium.

I have a Tunze ATO but I haven't installed it yet.

Several Sochting Oxydators using 8% hydrogen peroxide

Other things I might have forgotten.

I consider myself an equipment *****. It is like it's more important to me than the living inhabitants. LOL

All that's missing from this description is a picture! I'm moving this over to the member tanks section as your build thread.

Well, Welcome to R2R. What the goal was, was to have member update their build threads and members received a cool banner under their name. Now everyone going to ask for pictures of your great build:)

Welcome aboard, Don74136!

That sounds like a pretty cool setup. Those oxydators are a new one to me - what do they do, and how well do they do it?

The oxydators use a stronger concentration of hydrogen peroxide than you normally buy in the supermarket which is just 3%. I purchase a 32oz bottle of food grade 35% hydrogen peroxide from amazon that i dilute to 8%. Most people start with 6% h2o2. There is a small pellet in the various sizes of oxidators that act as a catalyst and then they do their magic. I purchased some of the oxydators from eBay and in the UK. It totally got rid of the cyanobacteria in my refugium and it was quite a lot in there. it took a couple of weeks but that's gone and has never come back I would say Google it and let it make up your mind.
