Ever sense I started my tank back up about 6 weeks ago I have been getting some microbubbles in my DT. They are not too bad, but a little annoying. After playing around with some things today I realized they were only present when my skimmer is running. The skimmer is a SWC-150 BMK. I do not ever remember having this issue before it crashed more than a year ago. 6 weeks ago before getting everything up and running again I cleaned the skimmer pretty thoroughly with hot water. Could the skimmer be "breaking in" still after the cleaning?

I did change the sump setup up a bit 6 weeks ago also. I took out a baffle and removed the refugium. The baffle used to be just to the left of the return pump in the picture below. I did not feel like I was getting much benefit out of it and wanted a larger return section. Do you think my 2 baffle bubble trap is ineffective?

I don't see any bubbles in the sump. Put an intake filter on the return pump, that will weed out the bubbles.
