My snail Larry

I love watching this guy. He was purchased as a fighting conch snail but some have questioned if that was what he truly is once I posted pics. I took this pic last week and just thought I would share. When we first started the tank I couldn't wait to get fish, but honestly nothing interests me more than Larry and our skunk shrimp. Once my one spot blenny is added though, I will probably have more interest in watching that particular fish. Having a bit of trouble finding a one spot though. The LFS had one but by the time we were ready he was gone and now it seems whenever I ask for one the employees automatically think I mean a tail spot blenny.
Anyway, I really like this pic of Larry because you can see his eyes and snout and everything so clearly. It's almost as if he was posing for me!

Thats a fighting conch lol living in florida everytime I go to the beach I see them all you have to do is dig in the sand a little and youll find a ton

Conch are some of the coolest little creatures. I love watching them too.

MyLady's Hubby:

We had two of them and the debate over what they were started when we said that one of them was climbing our tank walls. We were told that these snails dont climb the glass and that you have something different. So we took pics and posted them and the indicision stemmed from there. The one that climbed the glass passed a while ago and we are back to just the 1. But I have to admit, he is rather cool to watch. When he tries to climb the glass, he doesnt make it that far off the sand. And when he lands on his back, its really cool to watch him flip himself over.
