Have you considered a T5 supplement instead of an upgrade. I have spoken with a few people who say the color and growth in a hybrid lighted system is phenomenal. Can I ask how mature was the tank when you started this thread?

Are you using a photo tube like the bao or porthole?

Im also interested to hear more about the orange gel filter. What brand and where you go it.

I have a nikon D5200 and like you said the sensor for blues sucks. I have been thinking of an orange or yellow filter.

Its just a giant clutter lol

T5 is not an option until they make something as sleek as RMS mounts. I'm not one for canopies.
At the time of this thread I think the tank was like 2 months old or so.

BAO all the way!
The gel filter is one of the generic ones from china, I spent maybe $20 for a set of nine different colors.

Is it the filters that bao links you to on their website?

It was really nice to watch the grow out of these awesome corals. Great job!
