My Tailspot Blenny bit me!

Hello, Team! Yesterday I was putting some empty shells in the tank for my hermit crab and I guess I got a little too close to my Tailspot's favorite spot and he darted out and bit me on the hand! it was super cute!

Yesterday was actually the day he started open swimming in the tank. I've only had him/her for a week, And before that, he/she was just staking out his territory. Now he swims all over the tank. (P.S. He also dropped two of the biggest deuces I've ever seen in my entire life. That probably had something to do with it. I'm a mess when I'm constipated too.)

One thing, though, that ******* won't eat algae. He just waits for me to feed him. Any recommendations for algae eaters? I have a tail spot blenny, a pajama cardinal, and one Scarlet hermit who does nothing. 32 gallon biocube.

They're such likable fish. Mine is my only fish in the tank right now. I was extremely worried because yesterday he was in the corner of the tank in the morning just sorta sitting in the corner, and I was freaking out. A couple of hours later he was up and around as if nothing was wrong, so I guess he was just sleeping down there since there's not really anything in the tank to bother him.

Sure they didn’t sell you a maroon clown that they passed off as a tailspot blenny? Little fish with a huge
personality! Mine grazes all day and maybe yours is just settling in. I have a 32 Biocube and for algae on the rocks I have a Tuxedo urchin , a few Mexican Turbo snails, 10 trochus snails, 8 cerith snails, 4 stomatella snails, 2 fuzy chitons, limpets, 6 dwarf blue leg hermits, 6 dwarf red leg hermits and 2 Emerald crabs. For the sand, tiger

conch 6 nassarius snails. These were added slowly over years as the need increased. You don’t want to throw all these in at once if you don’t have enough algae to support them, you don’t want the little buggers to starve.

Nice looking fella! Thanks for the input. I started with two scarlet hermits, a tuxedo urchin, and two margarita snails, but I think I need a few more. May get a trochus and a few more margaritas. I got some bumblebees too, but they just clean the sand, those cutie pies!
