I wouldn't count your chickens before they hatch. Its good there isnt aggression atm, its a good sign. Things you didnt mention is how long have they been together, looks like a QT tank maybe?, video is very short, I dont know how its scaped I dont see any rock but the video is only 2 seconds of the corner of the tank. If this is a larger tank with rock structures their dynamic could change once they pick territories or in a tank that has this. Fish act differently when they start to feel comfortable the clown does not look comfortable in that short video.Yeah idk I read tons and tons of comments and research about how clown tangs are super aggressive and even read that they will wipe out an entire tank… my clown tangs and blonde naso hangout together

I appreciate the insight! They both have there own territories in the rock structure I have (I rescaped my rock to create more room to add some more rock). They hangout when they are out and about and then go back to their little homes. I will also be upgrading my tank (planned and in action already) in 4-6 months. I’m keeping my stock low until I upgrade my tank to not set them off right now and provide a constant supply of nori, and they also graze on the algae built up on the rock and back wall. Just going to enjoy things while they are good right now and will stress if I cross the aggression path down the road lolI wouldn't count your chickens before they hatch. I had a purple tang years ago also known to be aggressive but the first 6 months I had him he got along fine with the 2 yt that were in the tank with him (added at the same time). He was very timid for the first couple of months any time I approached the tank he would hide, but I could watch from across the room and he would swim with the yts and pick at the rocks with them. At about the 4-5 month mark he became more bold and stopped hiding from me and started to beg for food like the other fish in the tank. At 6 months I had to move him to another tank as he was attacking the yts and most other fish in the tank too. There is safety in numbers when they are not comfortable. That could change as the fish becomes more comfortable those fish that helped him to feel safe at one point are now looked at as competition for food, space whatever.
I have heard that Nasos tend to be tank police. Breaking up fights and keeping more aggressive fish in line. I have never owned a naso as I have felt I have never owned a tank large enough for one and I dont believe in rehoming fish when they outgrow a tank. I feel if you get a fish you should provide a suitable sized tank for its life span. So I can not speak to this in actual experience, but I have read about it many times. Naso is a bucket list fish for me.
