Finally decided to do one of these and see how it goes. I have been doing saltwater for about 3 years now, first started off with a 55 gallon and now to a 125. The 125 has been up for about a year and has everything the 55 did, transferred everything over except some of the fish.
Two members of the tank are no longer with us, cleaner shrimp and my powdered brown. The shrimp I lost to peroxide dosing, sucks because it was huge and about two days after had a bad ich outbreak, which resulted in my powered brown dying. All the fish are still somewhat recovering.
About a week ago I introduced the rbta. Never had much success with anemones but I felt I'd give it one more try and so far it's been great. I planted it on the top of that rock and it slide down a bit and has stayed there since so hopefully I'll have some luck this time.
Not alot of corals and all that just because things get expensive lol and just kinda taking it slow but LEAR is coming up in 2 weeks so plan on getting all types of stuff. The pictures of the frogspawn, torch and hammer show them all closed up but that's because I had turned the flow up all the way up on my maxspect to clean some sand and detritus off rocks for a min.
Don't know what else to say so let me know what you guys think. Thanks!

Cool! Even a copperband in there I see. How long have you had it, does it eat well for you?

I'd say close to a year. And ya, at the lfs it was eating mysis and when I got it it stopped eating for about 2-3 days and then just started eating them again, never had a problem since.

Tank looks nice. Congrats one the CBB also. I've been lucky as well. Took a couple days to start eating but he's doing great. The best part is I have no more aiptasia either. Love it when a plan comes together.

So yesterday went out and got two cleaner shrimps, a one spot foxfire, a picasso trigger and then another counch. The trigger is about 2 in long, this purchase was probably one of my worst. I mean I knew all about them and all that but I figured may since he's so small he won't become aggressive or eat corals and stuff. Then more I think about it though the more worried I am becoming. Beautiful wish don't get me wrong just wish it was more reef compatible.
But anyway so far so good, although couldn't find the 2nd shrimp this morning only its skin that was shedded, 95% that's what it was. Also the tang is picking on the trigger by nipping at its fins. Foxface is also darting around near the fish and becoming a little aggressive which is weird.

So far so good. They all seemed to have settled out and ate getting along well. Oh and I found the shrimp that night. Turned the lights out and it came out, so I'm happy that it's still alive. Now they both just hang out together.

I'll post pics of everything later this week. Also starting feeding reef chilli so I'm excited to see how the corals react to long term use of that. If anyone's ever used it let me know ur results.
I'd like to add something else, anyone that can read the PH from red sea's test kit must be a God because I can't tell the difference or even what color the vial is which sucks because I really need to know what it is.

If anyone can post pics of how they connected a line from their skimmer to outside. I'd like to do that to raise my ph, but have no idea how I'm gonna do it with my skimmer.

They nip at each other every once in awhile but nothing to brutal. But why do you say that, curious?
