Went away in April and have been extremely busy with work last 2 months.
Let’s just say the Hanna Nitrate test is red and the Hanna Phosphate is blinking 200 at 50% dIlution.
But I’ve also not cleaned glass in 2 weeks plus, no nuisance algae, clams happy… and corals are growing. Most were 1-2 inch frags 9-12 months ago.
Will probably add small amount of GFO and add more biopellets but I’ve had more trouble when I was trying to control the nitrate and phosphate ‍♂️

Some reefs do perform better with higher nitrates and phosphates. My nitrates typically run in the 20-25ppm range with phosphates in the 0.15-0.2ppm range, although I expect to see both drop a bit over the coming weeks with the addition of a ReefMat and some Genesis rock. Like you, I found trying to get nitrates and phosphates down to a certain target was more stressful without much perceived benefit.

Just noticed videos of my tank not loading when clicking on it. How do I correct that? Thanks
