My Trip to Polo Reef!

Andrew the owner of Polo Reef the largest private reef tank in America…and I’m going to bet the world invited me over to his house. His main display is 17,000 gallons along with industrial sized equipment and public aquarium sized filtration rooms! And it is amazing! Photos/videos don’t do it justice! It’s funny because it’s inside his house, his money, and his time/issues he told me sometimes he gets tired of it and doesn’t want to look at it so he goes upstairs and avoids seeing it. Which makes a lot of sense. It’s a team of people not just him and obviously incredibly time consuming and very expensive to maintain and care. Oh and did you know he has a massive koi pond as well and just won awards for them? I’d love to tag him but I don’t think he’s on here well active at least. But he’s one of the kindest, most generous, incredibly humble, and coolest people I’ve ever gotten the chance to meet and interact with.:beaming-face-with-smiling-eyes:

Andrew DOES NOT own the largest private reef tank in America. Bill Wann does. Unless he tore his down. His is 20,000 gallons.

He is a hedge fund owner! His entire family is incredibly wealthy.

He is an extreme hobbyist and he is very hands on with his tanks/knowledge. The difference is he can’t do it all by himself and even if he could he has the money so why would he do it all by himself? I can guarantee you that anyone with the money of his scale would have a team too especially for that big of a project.

Kind of rich calling someone a scammer when Andrew builds his clout on having the largest reef in America when that isn't true. Bill still has his tank last he posted on FB. And Bill isn't a scammer. I think he overpromised and underdelivered. But my business dealings with him were always on point and as described. He 100% sucked at managing a business though. We only ever heard one side of the story when people complained because Bill never came and defended himself. In those cases I know of one where he refunded the person and let them keep a $5,000+ item.

Either way Andrew is making false claims and he continues to do it when called out on it.

He isn't a hobbyist. This is a business for him. Hence why he makes social media posts daily. It generates revenue.
