My Waterbox 135.4 first reef

Hi. I'm Sharon and I live in Perth, Western Australia. My reefing journey started in 2017 after thinking about it quite a while and with encouragement from my son. I really wanted clowns!
I bought a 4ft waterbox and joined a local marine page on facebook. I met lots of reefers through that page that have helped me through the 2 years, and have become good friends.
So my tank:
Waterbox 135.4 with sump
Maxspect gyre for flow
Mars Aquas lights-which I am hoping to upgrade at some point
Sump Equipment:
JNS skimmer
Bubble magus biopellet reactor with Continuum pellets
JNS reactor with GFO
Aquamanta titanium heater
Tunze 3155 ATO
Tunze Silence return pump

Setting Up:
After my aquarium was delivered, my son put it together as honestly I had no idea how to plumb the pipes!! It was a bit of a mystery to me this sump business as I'd always had canister filters with freshwater.

For gear, I went looking 2nd hand. I ended up buying gear from a reefer who shut down:
Bubble magus skimmer -that I ended up replacing
RODI unit
1000 litre IBC to hold NSW
Heater
Dry rock-my son and I did scapes on the coffee table in the loungeroom, then glued them together once we were happy.

Here is a photo of it at the start. I cringe now when I see it-I like the large bombies, but I don't know why I put all the small, twiggy bits everywhere. It was way too crowded!!

Nice scape! It is good to have a lot of hiding places for the fish and I see enough space for corals .....
