well i see what you are talking about ...being grey and with a hint of color .. sometime si feel the tips of my corals get to be grey but then i wonder if its just another shade of brown kinda ?? i mean excessive zoox explains brown color what explains grey colors ?

Yea whats acually cool about the wd for me is its my fastest growing acro i own right now (encrusted to bottom of plug in a month). Yea mine looks like a grey/tan color under t5s. When i first got it, it looked pretty decent. Now its just stupid looking, hopefully when it gets growth tips and matures it will look somewhat good .

Not related to wd but these are two fox flame pieces in my tank, almost similar levels of lighting but at different locations and flow

Notice how one is more greyish than other ?

I used to keep my WD under LED but moved it into the T5 tank. All tanks are plumbed to one system so lighting is the only real difference. The T5 have brought out more color and under all Blue it does pop more.
IMHO the only time you'll see that rainbow glow you see on Facebook is under all blue, custom white balance and Lightroom :)

In time I suspect your WD will get better color, it won't look the same as Biggers unless you have the same lens/lights and software ;) I like the MattV Orange Envy more, better colors IMO/E
