I like purigen better, it also takes longer to become ineffective(carbon is basically useful for like three days IMO)why purigen? and are you getting rid of both gfo and carbon or just one or the other?

We just get a lot of new people in the hobby all the time, and a lot of people that just want a moving piece of art. Xenia is both easy to keep and really cool to stare at if you have no idea on the hobby/ if you have small children. So I understand the allure. It is also really hard to keep if you don't have a proper tank sometimesthose people dont have a tank full of it....
I would use an amber color or more orangish. Those have worked best for me when I tested some out.U always take good pics, any suggestion for iPhone gel ?
