I took a whole year to build my current tank before it got wet! Lol

So I have someone coming to quote an exhaust fan installation this week. Also doing some research into an ERV as an option as well. I want to avoid a dehumidifier, so I hope whatever route I decide to take solves the heat and humidity issue. In the meantime will be cementing the scape for the next couple of days, and hopefully come up with something with a semblance of creativity lol.

Adding some rocks and saltwater today. Still fresh in there, gonna siphon some debris out and then add my saltwater that’s been mixing.

after talking to HVAC guy I think I’m going to try a dehumidifier and chiller before anything else. Might up the AC supply vent in the room to a size bigger as well.

my salinity is still low, but that’s fine for now I guess. Had a small leak from where the vinyl tubing attaches from return pump to my manifold. Think I fixed it, we will see. Some pics of what it looking like.

I have added a little more rock, but having a hard time taking pictures with the lights on (will do some research into how to take better pics). Got my chiller in the mail today. Probably set the chiller and UV up in the garage next week, and plumb some PVC through the wall! Still considering a dehumidifier, though my home AC seems to keep it fairly reasonable. We will see!

Well my tank has been all set up. Unfortunately I left my home so a family member could quarantine there. Very depressing.

@JMM744 probably around the end of July at the earliest. The family is sheltering at my house, while I am staying elsewhere due to the nature of my work and Covid. Have my two QT fish though lol

Well I have the chiller and UV sterilizer attached. Only pushing about 240 gph through them though. Have a dedicated pump on the way, and hope to put my clownfish into the tank this week!

The pump is Neptune Cor-20. I hope it has the strength to put at least 450 gph through my chiller and UV. We will see!

Well the COR-20 wasn’t nearly strong enough. Maybe I should add another external Iwaki instead? Not sure.

Decided on another external Iwaki. Should Give me the flow I’m looking for without question! Have the UV runnning for the first time tonight. Water looks crystal clear, it’s awesome!
