I’m hoping to get some help troubleshooting a strange bubble I’m seeing in my sump.

I’m running the Innovative Marine Nuvo EXT-100 with the RFS-39 sump. Everything seems to be working well overall, but I keep seeing a large bubble rise up every ~20 seconds in the very front of the sump, right where the 3rd filter media cup is located, furthest from the drain.

My drain system is tuned and appears to be siphoning properly, there’s no visible vortex or air being pulled into the main siphon.

Despite that, I can’t figure out where this bubble is coming from. and it’s always coming up in that same spot in front of the media cup.

I’m attaching a video in case it helps spot something I’ve missed.

micro bubbles condensing into one big bubble in the filter media would be my guess
