I need help ID'ing a fish in my care. I currently have it in a 10gal quarantine setup while I try to find an alternative home for it. Likely still a juvenile at approximately 6-7" in length, seems to be invert safe but has killed many smaller fish already.

I just got it today from someone else. Neither of us know what it is- it was mixed into an online order that it shouldn't have been included in. I didnt necessarily expect to take custody of it today, so i dont believe I would be equipped to take care of it long-term but i would like to make a positive ID before attempting to rehome. It wouldnt feel ethical of me to do so and would be in the fish's best interest to figure out what it is beforehand.

Did you ask the sender?
I unfortunately dont know who the vendor was. I got it from someone else who mistakenly got it from a vendor.

I believe it might be a dottyback of some sort. Psuedochromis persicus is the closest match I've found silhouette and shape-wise
