Hi all. My first post, don’t really know what I’m doing haha
So: I want to add a Mystery Wrasse to my reef...but want to make sure it’s a wise choice. We had one briefly a few years back but it was fully grown when we got it and the tank was too small...it was extremely aggressive and killed our Canary Wrasse.
Current setup: AR300 softie reef. Fish; adult male canary wrasse (currently dominant), Flameback Angel, royal gramma, blue spotted pufferfish, long-nosed hawkfish. (Also planning to add a decora goby shortly and some gold line cardinals) . Is my tank big enough for the mystery to be happy? Will a mystery wrasse become aggressive to the canary with time (planning in a juvenile mystery)? TIA
What are other people’s experiences with this very beautiful species?

Did you get your Mystery Wrasse?

You sound like you would have a good set up far a Mystery Wrasse. In my experience with Mystery Wrasse if your not first your last.
anything before should be ok anything after he is going to be a jerk. And if you have a a CUC, snails and crabs, say bye, bye to them.
If I were you, I would get him.
Good Luck
