Wow.. so I don’t check in for a few days and you became a star :D well deserved recognition Simon!

I’m sure you will do just fine, keep moving forward and you will find your way.. until then a nice dose of this may help;)

I love this song !!

[Victoria M]

I know I am on drugs but what is everyone talking about?

[NY_Caveman]

Had a long day. This album always helps. Meddle on deck.

My job will be ending soon, we are trying to keep me sane and the tanks happy! ;)

[najer]

Are you sure they are not going to keep you on?

The meeting on Wednesday will give us an idea as to where we stand.

[NY_Caveman]

Best of luck, brother. We know you will end up fine no matter what happens. When I got laid off five years ago it turned out to be exactly what I needed.

[Katrina71]

Think positive thoughts. Prepare for the worst, hope for the best. There will be a door that opens for you! You aren't the kind to just give up. Sending much love from across the pond!!!

[Janci]

All the best Simon.
These are nasty moments in life but, although it may not be so at this moment, it might bring you other opportunities.
Keep the head up.
I wish there was more I could do for you.

Thank you, thanks to all! :)

When it photobombs it is @Katrina71 's, new monti and cynarina have been touching for over a week, no issues so far, I need to remove it from the disk and re-glue it anyway, ... I might move it an inch! ;)

[Victoria M]

Oh, Simon, that sucks. I had a near miss with my job last spring and it tore me up. It all worked out fine for me but just the uncertainty killed me.

There is a "whole factory" meeting at 13-00 tomorrow, I might have more info, thanks, I might be able to scratch a couple more months! ;)
How are you feeling? :)

[Dubs83]

Najer, I started reading this and oh my what an incredible tank!

Thank you. :)

Excuse the angle on pic 2, it has expanded a bit since Sunday, probably twice as big as it was in the shop, I knew it looked healthy! :)

[najer]

Ok, the company is in the hands of the receivers as of about midday today.
I will be paid this month, next month will be decided in the next 2 days.
In 2 weeks I will lose my benefits, lots to process, I might be slightly distracted, I know, what even more than normal?! ;)
Now the news is confirmed through the courts I just took an fts, excuse the angle and the first pair of T5s just went off, complete neglect starts ... when I am in a people incinerator! ;)

[siggy]

Well World economy is looking bleak. your tank is always shining...Any irons in the fire? (Prospects)

Thanks, no, I need the reduced government redundancy payment, if I can sort a couple of payments life will be easier!
I might need to work an extra 10 hours a week or so but it will lower my monthly bills, my job is very specialised, just driving a fork lift will kill my £$ per hour! ;)

I hear that. I had to grab some side projects to pay bills. Auto company's are sliding and cut out all OT. We all find away to get it done. BTW my doughtier and boyfriend are headed your way soon, Music seine I think.

Sorry to hear about the job, I recently lost mine as well and have been struggling through the daily emotional rollercoaster.

And the pain of searching for another that's worth my time.

Best wishes for u in the future Simon. Hopefully we both find a way back to shore quickly. Cheers.
