Thank goodness I am not alone. Blue is not my thing either. I have dove all around the world and either I didn’t go deep enough or there isn’t that much blue lol. My kessils stay at 70% white and then hit 95% white when the hybrid comes on for the 180. The hybrid has 2 coral plus, 1 aqua blue special and 1 actinic. The actinic is not even noticeable, but does make colors pop. Keeps it more white and looks natural to what I am used to diving.
To really compete with t5 the price needs to come down. I'll need two and thats 1800. Thats a lot of bulbs.
Nothing wrong with it at all lol. My tanks looks crazy with all blue lol.
My thought is, if it works it works. My kessil a360s are old and the hybrid is old. I have looked at the Phillips light and they look awesome. It is just such a huge chunk to drop at once. My wife would kill me lol.

When snorkeling its beautiful just not as colorful as tanks. Read an article where before tank raised coral goes back to the ocean they give natural sunlight to drop the color. Better chance of survival in the big blue
