Nano Conches, aka Strombus Maculatus

They mate, but their egg sack looks like clear string with a bubble. Not exactly sure on the egg sack according to other members. Just edited. Thanks!

I find that they are not effective grazer. Also their shells are very hard and can jams pumps.
Stomatella are much better grazer IME

Then you don't have Strombus. Their eggs are clear and round with small white dots inside. Not in a string.

These snails lay clear bubbles with eggs in these bubbles. The eggs hatched and the baby snail chew through the bubble shell and craw out fully formed baby snails.

Exactly. They are not in a string. They are single round eggs. Usually a bunch in an area but not connected.

As said above stomatella snails are better at grazing. Larger in adult size.

Strombus maculatus
tiny Strombus snails that reproduce in our tank. They lay eggs on the rock and glass, a small bubble with 3-15 eggs in it. The eggs hatch and the tiny conch chew a hole in it and craw out. The egg bubble is about 1/8 inch or 2 mm in diameter, with white spots in it.
Pictures on the web. These egg bubbles has more eggs than normal seen in my tank.
