Hello Everyone,

I don’t venture too much into this sub on R2R so I’ll introduce myself.

My name is Johna and I recently just got back into “reefing” after a 10+ year break.

My main DT is a Waterbox 65 AIO. You can see my build thread in my signature if you’d like.

Due to a recent move we had to downsize into an apartment and with limited space, I’m kind of maxed out at what I have in the living room.

Some how I left the LFS (while going to buy trigger pods) with a 20 gallon AIO.

Threw in some bio balls from my DT, transferred some water and a couple love rocks then threw in some fish and two BTAs.

Originally, I planned on making this a BTA and Clown tank but with the extra space I figured why not use it to grow out some corals and make my DT look better.

Here’s what I have set up so far:
AI Prime 16
200 watt heater
Sicce 1.0 return pump
Jabeo SLW-10

I 3D printed some frag racks and fragged off a couple pieces of coral from my DT to see what happens.

I’m using Reef Crystals salt so Mg, Ca and Alk should be elevated.

I’m looking for any recommendations or pointers on what I should do/don’t do/dose/add to ensure proper and efficient coral growth while still keeping an aesthetic looking tank.

Thank you,
Johna

Sounds like a good plan, they only thing I see could be an issue is the BTA tend to move they could burn other corals

Do you have any photos of your tank?

I tried attaching them through the app last night and it looks like it didn't work. Here you go!

I am picking up some live rock and fragging some corals (for the first time) from my DT and bringing them over to this tank this weekend. Don't just the emptiness.
