Hello everyone. I have a 20 gallon with a pair of clowns. Previously my clowns have been fine but did occasionally pick on a flasher wrasse throughout the day in the past. Does anyone think nano gobies would be a good option as they occupy the lower area of the tank rather than the water column. If nano gobies are a good option ie trimma, neon, black barred convict just any of the 2 inch or less ones do they do well in pairs/ groups? Would you need to buy them at the same time or could I even get like 1 of several species?

Maybe. But in my experience a 10 gallon tank is to small for a pair of clowns to start. As it is, it is their tank now and anything new may suffer their Wrath. 🙂

Edit note - not sure where I got 10 gallons from. Should be OK in your 20.
