I’m not going to use the skimmer on my max nano but instead wanted to fill that skimmer chamber with LR rubble. I would like to be able to remove all that rubble easily and wondered if there was a basket or something that fits that chamber?

I'd just use a mesh bag like you would for carbon or GFO. It's a lot cheaper and would be easier to fill with more rock.

Ummmm yea perfect!! Thank you!

Haha how about I ship you the 400g I’m taking down now?

In seriousness, have you thought about using that giant tank to culture some dry rock? Fill it up with marcos Reef Saver and add a few rocks from somewhere like WWC and let it run for a year. You could then sale it during your Toy drive. Might be a way to increase the donations for it and help fellow reefers start new tanks with clean established rock. Win win for everybody.

I just setup my max nano like you and the skimmer is so loud I'm going to remove it. Water changes will do me just as good. I have carbon/chemi pure/matrix that I want to dump in there. I have a lot of spare InTank baskets and I will see if any fit.

I made a quick scape and this was the FIRST one (had a few Gentleman Jacks). I might go with it.
