So I'll be documenting all progress/changes on my 5 gal experimental nano on here... it's about 6 months old. And I'll be adding a few more acro frags later today, along with a few upgrades later this week. The first being a lighting switch over to ai prime, UNLESS I hear otherwise from experienced sps reefers as a few people have told me that I should be good with the current lights given the size of my tank... but idk. This is only my 2nd tank since discovering the hobby (whichhasn'tbeen long), my first tank isn't much older and is actually a bit smaller... a mixed Reef. So here it is... any tips and or advice is welcomed and appreciated...Thanks!!!
Mixed Reef corals
2 Hammers (which have split since)
A favia that has taken off recently
A cyphastrea that has recently been added from the sps tank (it wasn't doing too well under the lights)
Gsp that is slowly but surely creeping onto the hammer rock. But I hope the Hammers will keep them at bay which should make for a cool looking island soon.
Duncan that began as 1 Polyp and is now 4.
2 Rhodactis
And an acro frag that I just moved over from the other tank as well since it wasn't doing too shabby either...
1 sixline wrasse
1 peppermint shrimp
2 astrea snail
2 hermit
SPS tank is stocked as follows
Beach bum Monti
Pc rainbow
Garf bonsai
Disco acro party
Blue sparrow table
Toxic green acro
Bee sting acro (mail order should arrive soon)
Flameworks acro (mail order should arrive soon)
2 digi bubblegum/toxic green
