Nano tank inverts cuc

So I have a 10g nano, 2 months old. I've found myself starting to have an algae problem! It started with detritus, but I fixed that with less lighting. Now I'm finding a bit of green algae on the rocks and a little on the glass. I have 3 corals at the moment, gsp, favia, and Xenia. All are doing pretty well, and I have a dwarf Pygmy angelfish (there is a lot of love rock for him to pick on and had been housed in a small tank for 1+ years before I got him) and a firefish, that's my max of fish, but corals and inverts I'd like to keep adding. I started with a nassarius snail, trochus snail, 2 astrea snails, 2 blue legged hermits, and a red legged hermit. My blue legged hermits killed the nassarius and trochus EVEN THOUGH there were extra empty shells, lol. So, I'm thinking I need a bigger cuc since those snails died, definitely will be getting another nassarius and trochus, but should I get more? I'm the future I want a feather duster and maybe a brittle star if it has enough room in a 10 gallon, still doing research. Thoughts, concerns?

IMO get rid of the hermits, they cause more damage than what they're worth. Trochus is good, maybe 1 or 2 total. I'd get 2 ceriths to get into all the small spaces.

Also that Pygmy angel
1. Should not be in that small of a tank regardless if it lived in a small one before. That's like saying that you can keep a dog inside a cage all day because that's how it lived before. Just because it is alive and "healthy", does not mean that it is good for their health especially in terms of stress.
2. They are almost guaranteed to nip at the feather duster and possibly even eat it

I'm upgrading to a 30-40 in less than a month, and he's still a juvenile so I think he'll be okay until then. Thanks about the feather duster though!
