Yea and I got this whole tank set up for like 30$ so it’s a really nice looking tank for cheap and I’m only 15 so you know money is kinda tight at my age but I’m in the process of setting up a 55 gallon reef tank

It's hard waiting, what's worse is actually buying the coral and watching it sit in QT for a couple months. ;Nailbiting;Nailbiting;Nailbiting;Nailbiting it's why I just haven't bought coral yet lol

i have a question l, so I get everything from my local fish store I got all my live rock and my saltwater and my fish from the same place and he already qt them, so should I still qt them ?

I would personally, I sincerely doubt they do a full 76 day QT. Even coral, it wouldn't be nice to introduce something in your nice new system if you can avoid it...

Dips are always recommended on top of a QT, reason for this is dips will not kill certain parasites in there tomont state. But will kill lots of other harmful things. Only thing that kills the tomonts is time... After they hatch they need a food source and without one they die off.
