I’ve either miscalculated, or the product is bad, or the small water volume is too saturated.

Been working way too much. Somebody please check my math. Tank volume is 100/G.

-The amount of water to mix with is 95 grams or mL’s.

-The amount of product is 59 grams.

-Each 1 mL of this solution will add 1.01 ppm NO3.

I think it’s over saturated or my scale is broke. Or it could be my brain. Lol

The solution is always clear so I feel like there’s too much product and not enough water. Might need to go to a bigger container or just make it 1/2 strength.

Ok, I figured it out. The volume was too small for the amount of product. Once I doubled the volume it immediately became clear when I mixed it. I guess it hit its fully saturated point and said I will not mix any further!! Haha.

So now instead of my dose being 1/mL to NO3 by 1 ppm…it’s 1mL will raise by 0.5 ppm. No big deal.

Here’s a pic of the final solution vs the 1st smaller one:

Yes, that was a highly concentrated solution. Nothing wrong with even diluting it 10x for easy dispensing.
Thanks Randy! I was baffled because it was after a long day at work and that has never happened to me before. It has always been clear when I mixed it. That time it was a yellow color and most of it did dissolve, but about 1/4 just would not dissolve no matter how much I tried. As soon as I doubled the volume of RODI it instantly mixed. :)
