I want a cleaner shrimp, maybe another crab or had thought about a starfish but I think my system is too small for those sadly. Right now I've got 2 clowns, a single scarlet hermit I have had since I started back in 2016, an emerald crab to keep my gba in check, 2 turbo snails and 2 nassarius snails although i'm sure I could use a bigger better cuc. Anyhow, I'd love ideas from everyone on any other corals or critters I should add to my nano. I've owned saltwater tanks in the past, all nano's but I took a hiatus from the hobby for quite some time before I got back into it and I am determined to make this one something to remember :)

I would find a nice sized small goby to help with your sand bed, and/or a star. The star i have is only a couple inches and cannot keep up with the 110 lol. I am sure you could find a small one. Trade them later for another small one if they get to big.

Beautiful tank!

You could fit a biota rainford in there for a little sand help. Blue porcelain crabs are funny little creatures. Nice job in that evo.
I like the idea of the rainfords although it may be hard for me to find one where I live. And omg I love porcelain crabs thank you for reminding me

I saw a small icon starfish at my lfs but seeing they are hard to care for I opted out sadly. I'll keep looking though.

Biota in Fl has the tank raised ones in stock now. Live Aquari has biota tank raised rainsfords for 17.99, but would quarantine from them. If you get a wild one, a little trick to get it eating is to inject pellet food mixed with reefroids into the sand bed in front of the cave it makes with a pipette. I like porcelain crabs also. Just waiting for my tank to mature a little more to order one. They are so funny waving their fans around.

That would work if I lived in the USA but I live in canada I will have to shop around some stores near me and keep my fingers crossed that I find them.

Well they are at divers den in Wisconsin if you know a smuggler. You got me all stirred up and I pulled the trigger on one. I'll let you know if it eats. Good luck on your quest.

Update on the nano- so after battling red slime and bubble algae I've pretty much got that under control, but now I'm getting hit with some more green and brown algae. Yay. I decided to add some more rock and got my hands on a white and pink tip torch coral but lost my nem and one of my clowns. my plate coral has gotten really big as well which is nice. My turbo snails are now braving the sand just to get a meal even though I feed them. Is anyone else's torch corals super sensitive? The tank is stable but if one of the powerheads gets thrown off kilter it retreats into its base like it's seen a ghost.

Update: after much thought and consideration I decided to downgrade the evo as I can't afford to stock it the way I want and it looked way too empty. So I moved everything into the old 7g cube. So far all inhabitants are doing well except for my torch with I had to return to my lfs as it turns out it was bleached. I was able to swap it for a purple goni.

As I begin to type this out, I feel to kick myself in my behind for touching my evo. After making the switch my system crashed and I lost basically everything. So after selling the evo and crying a little (a lot), I ended up getting the Jbj 10g rimless aio. So far I am loving this tank, but since I used all cleaned dry rock I've had nothing but issues so today I went and got a hunk of new rock. Tank is a bit cloudy right now but hopefully things will start to settle again. I have one 2 head torch coral frag and I am hoping to get another fish but still debating on what to pair with my storm clownfish. I like the sunrise dottyback but don't want to overstock it. I would love stocking suggestions for a fish and corals! And some motivational advice would be great considering I'm starting from scratch all over again (tear).
