Naphthea needs to move...

Have a green Naphthea which is now almost on top of a Monticap...both in good light...both doing well...I want to move the N. away from this situation...its attached dirctly to live rock...should I just cut it free at its bottom and reglue it elsewhere?...are there risks?...I'd appreciate advise asap...thanks...:confused:

You can do that but what's left on the rock will grow back eventually.
