Hi all,

Has anyone had one of these starfish? If so would you say they’re reef safe and ok for beginners.

I have a sand sifting star fish already but have been told the linkia species can be hard to keep.

Cheers

Everything i am seeing on these guys says intermediate level of skill needed. I have never had one, but as with any starfish proper acclimation will be the key to beginning success. I'd recommend reading up on this specific star, and the associated family of its species so that you have a good foundation for keeping it.

Cheers, I shall do indeed. I like to research lots before buying anything for my reef.

My 200 gallon reef is only 10 weeks old so won’t be looking to get a new starfish in a while. I want to get past the early uglies and let the tank stabilise

ARE YOU READY TO CONFESS TO CRAZIEST, DUMBEST, FUNNIEST THING YOU’VE EVER DONE IN REEFING?
