Walked in the LFS today and saw this sitting on the sb in the corner of a tank.

What sp. of acropora is it?

It has blue knobs,if you will, and a neon green base color.

The white marks are not bites of any kind, just damage from driving home.

I have one just like it and they listed it as a blue and green tort.

I was thinking tort and collector wise cali tort aswell. But since im just getting my feet wet in sps collecting I was not sure. Hopefully it does well,I really like the contrast on it!

Cali tort that's been missing out on flow/calcium. The coralites look deformed from it not growing. Notice how it's missing a growth tip. The fact that it still has good color is a good sign. Give it a few weeks to acclimate then take your cutter to all the tips and cut off 1/4-1/2". Gl!

It was in a LED lit tank, would that cause odd growth pattern?

My oregon blue tort had growth like that aswell,I think its fine.
