Hi all! Thanks for reading.

My 75g has been back up and running for a while now after being fallow, and I'm looking into upping my cuc. My only fish are a pair of clowns and I'm getting the system ready to house soft corals. I'm transitioning from tap to rodi water over the next sequences of water changes, and do not yet have a skimmer, but am looking into a tunze in tank skimmer since my tank isn't drilled.

I currently have one nassarius and one golf ball-sized turbo snail. The clowns leave a fair amount of food behind, even when I turn the filters and gyre off, which I vacuum out weekly. I feed once per day and they've been fine over the past months Algae is slowly creeping on the rocks, and I've got diatoms on the sand. My plan is to add 4 more nassarius, two turbos and/or a bunch of trochus, and a fighting or tiger conch/one of each. The back glass I leave unscraped for my turbo because I scrape the front and sides and want him to have enough food. It's always got enough algae for him. I can supplement feeding for the conch(s) and other snails. Whatcha think? Does that stock for cuc look about right? Too much? Thanks in advance!

Edit: planning on using reefcleaners but struggling to hit the $50 minimum while not getting too many inverts.

I see their price for a 70g is $122.

I talked with them about it seeming to be quite a bit too large for my tank, and was talked in to their stocking recommendations. If I were you I'd do the same... THey have reasons for recommending what they do.

Thanks! There are some snails I don't want in those packs but I'm willing to try. I'm stuck on having a conch as well which might limit things. How is it working for you?

Going with 2 tiger conch, 9 more nassarius, and 10 trochus once I finish adding new sand to get the bed size to 3" and let it sit for a while. Will also supplement with nori and other foods to make sure everyone gets enough.

They have some great communication. Going with 2 tiger conch, 9 more nassarius, and 10 trochus once I finish adding new sand to get the bed size to 3" and let it sit for a while. Will also supplement with nori and other foods to make sure everyone gets enough.
JMO but that's a great choice - I came here to nudge you towards Nass/Tronchus. Those have generally been the best for my tanks over the years.
