Hello everyone, I am a high school teacher. This year we are setting up a waterbed 110.4 in my classroom. I want to have the students run an experiment to find the ideal spacing and height of our Hydra 32HDs. I got the idea from this BRS video. I have a PAR meter and lights/tank are good to go. The tank is empty so I was planning of filling it and testing the PAR specific areas of the tank in a grid pattern, similar to BRS.

What I am wondering is...

1) Should I test the PAR at the bottom of the tank or more towards the top?
2) What settings should I use on the Hydra to perform the tests?

Any advice is greatly appreciated!
