Is there’s any benefit to using old water for setting up a new tank if the salt mixes are the same. Basically, we are moving a tank to a new home. Should we keep the old water that was currently in the a tank. Or should I mix new water completely start from fresh.

I always keep as much as I can from transporting the livestock and top it off with new. More is better IMHO but lugging tank water isn't worth it to me. The seeded rock and gravel is really all you need to start the new tank with fresh saltwater.
