I got a Chalice coral from my local fish store two weeks ago. The staff said Chalice coral is easy, so I got it home. Initially, I placed it in my new tank at 40 to 60 PAR location. During the first week, it started to brown. I assumed it wasn’t getting enough light, so I moved it to my old tank with higher light around 80 to 100 location — in the same area where another Chalice coral has been thriving for a year. After another week, its condition worsened. Could I still save it? I have no idea what the problem is. Please give me some advices. Thanks.
I included the picture I took from LFS, and how it looks like now.
