Need an acro id.

Got this about a week ago. It was pretty much no color when I got it. It is gaining red pinkish color. Came from a wholesaler and was told it was from a maricultured biota colony. Gets brighter under full blues..
Any ideas what species?

Looks like divaricata, Red Robin stag is an aquacultured option.

Looks similar, he mentioned it looks similar to a asd rainbow loom when colored up. It will be interesting when it colors up a bit and grows out. Thanks.

I wouldn’t put money on it being a Mari rainbow loom but only time will tell. That frags pretty tiny and is all red at this point. If it gets the greens in it then you have your answer. The Red Robin variants stay pretty much reddish pink no matter what. Not much green unless super stressed. Mari pieces really change color and shape once growing well in an aquarium, most of the time. Unless your one of the few who use white strong light and flow with super clean water.

Not super bright, pretty clean water. Time will tell. Thanks for the info!
