So my tank has been up for 15 months with ok results. I've gotten my tank to a pretty stable state with good water parameters and decent nutrients, but I'm still struggling with Dino's off and on (this latest round has been more stubborn). Also just needing advice on flow, coral placement, aqua-scaping advice, how to get a couple anemone's out, etc. I'm in the Troy / Glen Carbon area and I'm looking for someone who is willing to come over and take a look at the tank and give me some advice. I'll provide drinks. 🍺

Tanks is a Cade 1200P
NO3 = 5.6
PO4 = 0.07
Alk = 8.44
Calc = 431
Mag = 1372

I'm in Glen Carbon, not sure I'm that qualified but I have had saltwater tanks for nearly 8 years. I've upgraded more tanks than I'd like to admit to and currently have more tanks up than I'd like to admit although I'm trying to consolidate a bit. There are pictures in my build thread of several of them if you want to see if you like what I've done.

Not sure I've ever had dino's so no experience there, but I've had cyano and bryopsis.

I run into Dino’s when I’m running ultra low nutrient systems. You could try elevating your phos and nitrates a little bit. I keep mine around .1phos and 25 nitrate in my acro heavy tank

I think that counts for being qualified. I'll send you my number. I was planning on running over to The Corner Reef and then trying to make it back quickly enough to watch most of the STL City game. I'll be home afternoon / evening if you're interested in seeing the tank. Just text me if today works or sometime in the next couple weeks.

I'm always up for checking our new tanks and helping out where I can. I've got a 250-gallon system with a 150 SPS heavy display and 50 gallon frag tank. I'm located in O'Fallon, IL and there are quite a few other reefers in the area as well.

Cheers,

Matt
