Brain, tracolphyillia, wesophyillia. Does it open up, spread out? And it looks hungry. I've used feel tweezers and sometimes a syringe to feed them. If they are in the right light, tank position they will dpread- pluff out like lobophyillias- and be very large. They are very gorgeous additions to the reef.

It is a trachyphyllia geoffroyi. Not a welsophyllia radiata. The term welsophyllia is no longer used. They were reclassified as trachyphyllia radiata. Many dealers and reefers still refer the radiata variety as welsophyllia. Only to separate the visual difference between the two. Care is the same.

She's not looking to good. Where is best tank placement for these. I just recently moved it into substrate in flat position.

Every trachy i have purchased needed low light until i got them use to medium light. Which takes a long time. They are listed as medium light but every one I purchased needed to get use to mine. If they are not expanding during daylight. They are not happy. If all your perimeters are fine. I would opt for low light low flow. Keep us updated on it. Hope it responds better in a next day or so
