Anemones inflate, deflate and change shape daily. Is the anemone a Condylactis or a BTA? Always check water chemistry first and then move down the trouble shooting list, next lighting, next flow......What lighting fixture are you using?

Ammonia is a significant problem. A LTA should foot on or close to the sandbed/rubble not up on the rock work.

If you're using an API strip test kit for ammonia you may be seeing a false positive.

Smaller more frequent water changes will assist in lowering ammonia levels. Use of bacteria in a bottle products such as Microbacter7 can also be of assistance. If the ammonia level is truly elevated you need to address that asap.

Glad to hear the anemone looks better.

You might be able to find it at a local fish store. There are a couple different products available at the box stores. I would start with some smaller water changes. The vast majority of anemones need excellent water quality to survive. When you do a water change check the water you're using for the wc for ammonia. If the source water tests positive then the kit is most likely in error.
