Need aquascape ideas

Just looking for some inspiration for my quarter cylinder 110 gallon. Not at my house yet still at lfs. We are building the scape and setting up all plumbing and planning all electical before I move it to my house. Will probably have the stand either painted or wrapped in satin black. Going with fine white sand .

Looks great!

Just be aware of using sand that's too fine. Very fine sand can blow around the tank from your circulation pumps, and makes a sand storm in your tank. Take a look at something along the lines of CaribbSea Special Grade for size of grains of sand. I probably wouldn't go much smaller in terms of grain-of-sand size.

Yeah I just said that cause my current 30 gallon tank has coarse black too big for gobys

Ah gotcha! Then there's plenty of smaller, white sand you ca go with that won't cause a "sand storm"

Thanks yeah man I just got the 30 last year and its not big enough I want more fish so had to buy this one

Bad part is I got a 20 gallon all.in one quarantine and a 155 acrylic for a predator tank that i still have to restore lol

I may do that i have one started on the 155 I believe just ain't done anything with it yet

That tank would look good with a 'floor to ceiling' central rock-mass that followed the contours of the black overflow!
