Need DC with low flow

Im using a pentair 25w UV for protozoa, they recommend 79gph.

Its all plumbed with 1" PCV/silicon. I want a dedicated pump preferably variable so I can fine tune.

This is a a really low flow rate, DC pumps usually dont dial down that far. Is there a DC pump someone can recommend that can be plumbed into 1" and can dial down to 50-80GPH?

It's plumbed with 1" and needs 79 gph? Only way to do that is an adjustable tee of a main return. The IM Mighty Jet's are the smallest DC's I know of but going from their 1/2" output to 1" would be troublesome.

In-line valves are your friend.

Yeah, originally planned to go algae & bacteria flow which is 472GPH, so that would need 1". I even added the apex 1" flow meter.

But now I've decided to go for protozoa rates, which is too slow for 1", the flow meter also only goes down to 150gph!

I'd love the flexibility to go either way considering what a monster PIA replumbing is.

Was hoping a pump might exist that would have this range.

I tried a 1x1x1/2 tee off the pump before the UV. Then put a valve on the 1/2"...trouble here is the outflow tube doesnt fill with water completely and creates lots of splashing noise.

I suppose I could put a 1" x 1/2" reducer at the exit, (maybe with a 1/2" flow meter) perhaps that would back up the flow enough to fill up the exit tube.

I own one, the details I have on it, it goes down to 300 liters which is 79gallons.

I'm in the UK, I think the issue maybe the names of those pumps change depending where they are bought?
