hello all sooo I am trying to figure out a slight issue I have . My tank is a 150 and I have limited space below to fit sump with a refugium built in . I convented a old wet dry system I had into a refugium . Here's how to system will go in theory . Overflow box > sump > protein skimmer > return pump to a UV sterilizer > refugium > another return pump . Both return pumps are the same make and model . I thought in theory it should be the same GPH . However my 2nd return pump is pumping much slower then the 1st . Both pumps are a deep blue professional brand/ model - triton 4000 (1050gph)

Please if anyone has any experience with a set up like this help me out !!! Want to set up refugium asap . Thank you

As you found out, two pumps won't work out...

You're going to want to incorporate a gravity drain between the two tanks, but not sure you'll be able to do it as-is.

Most people drain the display into one sump, then let that sump drain into the second. The refugium can even overflow back into the main sump if that works out for some reason.

The last sump has the (only) return pump.

Thank you . I'll be looking into a better way with your suggestions !
