Need help ASAP please

Well it is off season here in Vermont, and pickling lime that is not seasoned seems to be impossible to find. I have ordered some online but have to wait for it to get here. I have started the hydrogenproxide drops and I started dosing today. I'm keeping my fingers crossed and I'll keep you posted!

OK, so my refractometer got here today and I have never used one before.
It says my S.G is at 1.020 and that makes my PPT a 30. Anybody want to help me de-code this?

Well the saga continues. I raised my salt. I am working on the hydrogen peroxide dosing…
Cannot find pickling lime to raise the pH anywhere, but I have ordered it and it should be here any day now.
My sad news of the day is I think I have lost my torch. He was my very favorite and today he is a shriveled up little skeleton. I don't know if he'll come back. I wish I had caught this problem earlier I am very sad
