Hey team I’ve had a recent pathogen pop up in my tank that I need help figuring out how to treat. About two weeks ago three of my nine fish (kole tang, royal gramma, and clownfish) started showing signs of what I thought at first was ich. I started looking to source meds but within 48 hours all fish were clear of spots and no other symptoms became present. All other fish did not show signs of illness and the three infected ones continued to eat and behave normally. Almost two weeks later the kole tang and clown are showing white spots again but again eating well and not showing any other symptoms. I’m now setting up a 56 gallon QT and plan to pull and treat all fish but honestly am not sure what I’m working to eradicate. Currently have prazi, cupramine, multiple antibiotics, and now reef rally on hand. I’m trying to see if I can get some CP within a reasonable amount of time to use in place of the copper. Plan is to do 90 minute baths in the rally and then transfer to QT and start a copper treatment. Can I also dose the prazi with the cupramine or is this too much? Just trying to cover all my bases.
