So I was just checking my tank while the lights are off and found these critters. Need help IDing.

They look like flatworms but fast and hides when light is on them.

They look like flatworms to me too. See if you can get a good still image of them for a more positive ID.

Most likely a Ghost Flatworm.
They are harmless, but annoying. If you start to see the first ones now, it doesn't take too long until they are everywhere.

I'm late, but +1 for ghost flatworm:
Yeah, Ghost Flatworm (presumed to be an Amphiscolops species at the moment) - they're pretty neutral, but it's generally recommend to remove them to be safe.
Do you know if these also produce toxins when treated with something like flatworm eXit?

I don't really mind them too much but there is no way I will be able to remove a significant amount of them before treatment...

The thing is... I don't think mine are Amphiscolops as they have zooxanthellae. Check out post #85 in my microscopy thread when you find the time please. 😊
