Need help identifying a fish, please?

I got this fish from someone breaking down a tank and it was free so I jumped on it. I want to know what fish it is and if it ca. stay in my redsea 350 long term. Thanks in advance!

Youre welcome! Lots of kinds. White tail, yellow eye, blue eye, blue lip (I have one of these!) this one seems to have really nice coloration!

Oh dang been lookin for one of those for a while lucky lucky you! White tail bristle tooth rare and beautiful fish! Nice job with getting it treat it with care!

I've always heard of them as kole tang. Which is a bristletooth
They are all bristletooth tangs, its used for tangs with sharper teeth to scrape algae! They just have different names (yellow eye kole for example) This is my bristletooth, a blue lip!

Yes. I've always been a tomini type guys. Great algae eaters and easy to care for. Great choice in fish on any bristle tooth.

Except the African gold eye or whatever that one is called (not yellow eye). I had one and she was the devil. Re homed. Was very hesitant to get this guy (I named him Blue) but his blue mouth fades to purple and he is pretty! Super chill and active. The blue is hard to see with the flash on
