Need help identifying this

I have been dealing with this for a couple months. I scraped it all off the back glass, and it just exploded everywhere after that. Been manually removing it for a month. I have tried peroxide for a couple weeks. I tried chemiclean. I tried a sea hare, but wouldn't touch it. I tested today and I'm at .08 phos and 8.2 nit. I run carbon and a UV. 100g system with sump. I also run a refugium. I'm leaning towards Lyngba. I would really appreciate some help.

Cotton candy algae. Urchins, Mexican turbo snails, rabbitfish and tangs are your best bets. Manual removal and being very consistent with maintenance should get rid of it, though it can be pretty resilient. You can do hydrogen peroxide spot treatments if clean up crew + manual removal doesn't work. Make sure your refugium algae is growing fast to help out compete it.
