Need help Id'ing weird pods (?)

I noticed these white sack/pod looking things in my overflow a few days ago, and they have multiplied since. They are a rounded shape, some more cone than round, stuck on the walls and the pipe itself. A few have an opening right in the middle of them. None can be seen in the tank itself, only in the overflow so far.............. the photo's are not so great since my camera was focusing on everything BUT what I wanted it to tonight. :wacko: I'm hoping it's not bad news!:confuse:

I have those growing in my qt lol i never knew what they were i thought they almost looked like silicone or a fungus
