OK I have a 12 bulb Sfiligoi 48" T5 fixture. I am thinking of retrofitting some xho's into the mix. Im thinking 2 X 48" blue's on each side of fixture and maybe even a 50/50 or natural daylight reefbrite smack in the middle of my T5 fixture. I need shimmer in my life lol. Is this going to be overkill? and are the 50/50 or natural daylight reefbrite's worth a darn?? O ya FYi my tank is a Elos160 peninsula style, you are able to see 360 deg

I would only use the blues! I personally use 4 retrofit t5s in a hood along with 30 DIY 3 watt royal blue LEDs. I use 2 ati coral plus, 1 blue plus, and 1 purple plus. With all the blue LED, I don't need a lot of blue T5s. I like RapidLED for simplicity, but am also using some StevesLEDs. I like the reefbrites because you can lay them right on top of the tank, and they have a great color! They cost a bit, as you know. I would think that 3 would be plenty - one each side, and one in the middle. One strip on a 110 gallon 48 inch long tank looks good to me. My friend has one.
